He spent twenty-five years with Alabama's largest medical malpractice carrier. During those years he gained a wealth of experience in areas of underwriting, claims, sales, marketing, and policyholder services.

In 2011 Blair established Voltz Professional Risk Advisors (VPRA). Since that time he has helped 200+ physicians and a major hospital system move their coverage, many times improving their coverage as well as their bottom line. Additionally, he has consulted with dozens of other clients to help them negotiate the best coverage and terms with their current carrier saving some clients as much as 30% on their premiums.
